At Your Service…

Some residents think condominium associations exist just to tell them what to do – or not do! Actually, the association is more like your very own bespoke service-delivery organization that provides three types of services to all residents (owners and renters alike).

Community services can include securing trash collection, publishing newsletters, orienting new owners, holding community-wide information meetings, and scheduling recreational and social functions.

Governance services can include ensuring that residents are complying with the association’s governing documents (bye-laws, rules and regulations, etc.), ensuring that the association is adhering to local laws and administering new policies as needed.

Business services comprises of the bulk of the service provided.  This can include operating the common property efficiently, bidding maintenance work competitively, investing reserve funds wisely, developing long-range plans, and equitably and efficiently collecting maintenance fees.

Of course, providing these services requires good management and a professional, experienced property manager, like Masterkey, is key to ensuring the condominium’s services are effectively and efficiently delivered, ultimately protecting and enhancing the value of each unit.
